Cruising & Peek-a-boo

Natalie is quite the pro at cruising around the furniture. She loves to go around the coffee table and play peek-a-boo between the shelves. Observe:

Did you love her "singing," too? She already has more musical talent than I do.

8 month pictures coming tonight or tomorrow!

Fun with iPhone Apps

All the advances in technology, plus my fancy camera, and I am currently in love with an iPhone app that takes vintage pictures.  Bizarre.  Here are some of my favorites:

She is getting so brave, standing and holding on with just one hand!

helping mom in the kitchen (she loves to watch me load the dishwasher!)

Ok, seriously, how could you not LOVE this face?

Our busy streak continues with a day trip tomorrow and our upcoming family vacation!  Plus, coming soon are Nat's 8-month pictures.  I have recruited an assistant for this month, so maybe I'll have better success at getting the kid to hold still for a few seconds!

Laundry Day

Nat just loves helping me around the house, especially with laundry. Maybe that's why I feel like I never get anything done?

That's What She Said

Seriously, she said "ba ba ba ba."

Natalie has become quite the chatterbox. See for yourself:

Sick Sickies

Right in the middle of summer, we have all three come down with a pretty awful head cold.  High off the success of our yard sale on Sunday, Natalie started with a runny nose Sunday night.  Over night she got progressively worse, and was fussy and snotty all night.  Monday morning, I went up to find her with a terrible runny nose and snot in her hair.  Fun.  Thankfully, she never did get a fever.  She was coughy, sneezy, and just generally not feeling well all day.

Tuesday, I woke up with a terrible sore throat, and got worse and worse as the day went on.  Today, Nat is nearly all better, and now Eric is sick, too.  The good news is that I am already starting to feel much better, as is Natalie, so hopefully it's a short-lived virus.

Here's Nat doing her best to play through not feeling good....

Here are some gems from our yard sale:

Our set up on day 2

Just as she was on the mend from her cold, Natalie suffered her first black eye tonight.  She is becoming more and more brave standing, and is starting to let go of things.  Tonight, she pulled herself up on a kitchen chair, let go and fell eye first into the chair.  Of course, she continued to fall to the ground, and has a bump on her forehead, too.  Rough week for her, eh?

We are excited for this weekend.  Keeping our fingers crossed that we're all better as Eric and I are 1/3 of a team for the Cincinnati Mudathlon!  I'm sure there will be some stellar pictures of us very filthy!
